Broom shafts
Wooden shafts, which we use for the making of sorghum brooms go through many preparations and processing. It starts from the cutting of a tree, dividing it into quarter planks and finalizing the process by turning the quarter planks into a cylindrical shape. Shafts also need special processing depending on the demands of the customers. We divide them by quality to I and II class.
There are different lengths of the shafts depending on the broom model: 70, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150 cm.
The radius of the shaft also varies according to the model it is used on: 18, 23.5, 26, 28, 30 and 32 mm with or without the hole drilled into it.
